Lead Minister
he/him/his
Before coming to Armour Heights in 2017, Harris served congregations in Toronto and Quebec. Harris loves the creative process of preparing the kind of worship that moves the heart and stretches the intellect and imagination. He is passionate about adult education and spiritual formation, and engaging congregations in the larger outreach work of justice and care for the most vulnerable. Harris is also a pastor at heart who receives as much if not more from compassionate listening and attentive caring than he can ever give. In his free time, Harris loves to spend time with family, reading serious theology and exciting novels, play with his dog Hektor, and practice martial arts.

Associate Minister (On Maternity Leave)
she/her/hers
Having graduated from Knox College in 2018 and been ordained to the Presbyterian Church soon after, Rebecca is still in her early years of congregational ministry, but is not new to life and work in the Presbyterian Church. Before entering seminary, Rebecca was one of the Co-Executive Directors of the Cairn Family of Camps in Baysville, ON—a set of summer camps owned and operated within the church. Working with children, youth, and young adults is a passion of hers, and continues to be one of the main areas of her focus in ministry. She loves to teach through story and music, and help children and youth discover ways that they can engage in mission and social justice work. Rebecca really enjoys singing harmony lines, canoe tripping, reading fiction, and spending time with her husband and young daughter.
Administrator and Manager of Community Engagement
she/her/hers
One of the greatest surprises and transformative gifts Erin has ever received was joining Armour Heights as Administrator in 2016. Since her formative years at Armour Heights working part-time, Erin’s position has evolved and expanded to the full-time role of Administrator and Manager of Community Engagement. Along with her 16+ years of administrative/accounting experience and event planning, Erin brings spirited creativity and imagination to all aspects of her work. Erin holds a Master of Music in opera, and her passion for music is only surpassed by her passion for people. When she’s not singing in the choir, or instructing yoga classes, Erin is a part-time student at Emmanuel College pursuing a Master of Pastoral Studies in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy.
