We're thrilled to be able to offer Compassion Camp once again in summer 2025. Compassion Camp is a week-long day camp for all children ages 5-12. Join us for a week of fun camp activities as we focus on building faith, connections and compassion through activities, music, art, games, stories and more!
Dates: Monday, July 7 - Friday July 11, 2025
Ages: 5-12
Drop off time: 9am
Pick up time: Between 2:30pm and 3:00pm
Cost: $200 per camper (financial assistance available, please contact us for more info)
Location: Armour Heights Church, 105 Wilson Ave. North York, ON
Camp Theme: Compassion in Action
Throughout the week, kids will explore different ways to show compassion in their everyday lives. Each day, they will explore a different way to “love your neighbour”, with fun activities designed to be playful and engaging, while putting compassion in to action!
The cost for this week of in-person camp programming is $200 per camper. A minimum $50 deposit is required to secure your child's spot, with the remaining $150 payable by June 30th. You can also pay the full $200 up front if you prefer. Please note that we have a limited number of spots for campers, and registration is on a first come first serve basis.
Camp fees can be paid to Armour Heights Church in one of 2 ways:
1. Through e-transfer to etransfer@armourheights.org (this is set to auto-deposit, so a security question is not required).
2. By cash or cheque issued to Armour Heights Presbyterian Church (this can be mailed to the church or dropped off in the church mailbox or at the church office)
We want to ensure that all children have access to a week of camp! If your family requires financial assistance in order to attend, please contact us at education@armourheights.org.
In order to participate, we need complete information and health forms for all campers. To fill out the registration forms, click here or on the link below.
The last day to register is Monday, June 30, 2025 (or when spots fill up).
Compassion Camp will be run by two experienced camp directors, with many years of camp, teaching, leadership, and ministry experience behind them: Rev. Rebecca Jess and Kim Stanbury.
Campers will be required to bring their own nut-free snack + lunches each day as well as a labelled water bottle. An extra pair of indoor shoes on days when there is rainy weather is also encouraged.
