Once a month we gather with youth in grades 7-12 for discussion, games and a service-related project. All youth are invited to join us.
Check out a few of our projects below!
You can find our upcoming dates here.
Join us on Friday, February 24 from 7-9 PM in the church basement. We will play games, connect and try our hand at designing digital Easter cards. These cards will be printed and sent out to members of the Armour Heights community.
The rest of the dates for the New Year have been set! Join us for the following Fridays from 7-9 PM
Friday, March 31
Friday, April 28
Friday, May 26
Be sure to check in regularly to find out the details for each of our upcoming projects.
In January, we put together Valentine inspired Treat Bags and made pink and white fudge to sell at an upcoming service. The proceeds will go towards our Afghan Refugee Sponsorship.
We also did a team relay challenge and played hide & seek in the dark!
In December, we created one-of-a-kind holiday cards to spread cheer to residents of a long term care facility. We also played "large" jenga and sardines on the darkened main floor of the church.
In October, we baked pumpkin donuts and created chocolate covered apple slices to sell at our Bake Sale. Together we raised over $200 for North York Harvest Food Bank.
In September, we gathered to learn more about Truth & Reconciliation.
We then tie dyed our own Orange shirts.
