Armour Heights Christmas Pageant Sunday, Launched December 19
After weeks of writing, planning, rehearsing, recording, and editing, our Armour Heights Christmas Pageant has officially been launched for 2021! We are very excited to share this special story online!
Watch members of the Armour Heights congregation--toddlers, kids, youth, and adults--tell the story of Christ's birth through an original play written by Josephine Schoutsen, called Colour Your Christmas.
The pageant will remain on our YouTube channel so that you can re-watch it whenever you want and share it with friends and family across the country (or even around the world)!
A HUGE thank you goes out to everyone who participated in this year's pageant! Recording parts at the church outside, at home, across the country, recording extra music on Sunday mornings, learning new songs, attending online meetings, and editing many little clips all into one big pageant--every step was important to making this all come together! We are so grateful for every person's dedication to making this an amazing pageant!
Another HUGE thank you goes out to Josephine Schoutsen, who wrote an original pageant script for the 12th year in a row! Josephine also helped organize roles and assisted at recording sessions and was a big contributing member of the production and editing team.
A final HUGE thank you goes out to Michael Nettleton who helped brainstorm ways of creating a recorded pageant. He has spent many many hours watching all the many clips of video footage, selecting the best ones, fixing their sound issues (the wind and traffic are not our friends!), stringing them together, and adding transitions and music to turn it into the piece that we can watch today.
We are so thrilled to share this story--the BEST story--with all of you. So, go grab a hot drink, snuggle into a comfy seat, and enjoy watching, or RE-WATCHING this year's Christmas pageant!

Re- watch "Beautiful Things", A Concert for the Season from Friday, December 17, 2021 with Bruce Dow and Mark Selby
On Friday, December 17, 2021, award winning performer Bruce Dow with pianist, Mark Selby dazzled us with "Beautiful Things", a concert for the season.
We are pleased to announce that Bruce and Mark have extended access to the concert so that you can enjoy it throughout the Christmas season!
If you wish to make a donation, you can still do so through your regular envelope givings. Please write “Beautiful Things" and the amount you wish to donate on the memo line of your cheque or under “other” on your offering envelope. On December 3 at 7:30pm Armour Heights hosted an in person and online concert via YouTube featuring Music Director Bruce Nasmith, and soloists Anna Bateman, Erin Stone, Shaun Alphonso, and Chris Tanaka-Mann.
